  23. DDEESSCCRRIIPPTTIIOONN
  24.      This script kills off the IP server  and  daemons  that  are
  25.      known to communicate using Internet protocols.  It then res-
  26.      tarts the server and a standard  set  of  daemons.   If  the
  27.      script  is run on the root server, additional daemons (e.g.,
  28.      bboooottpp) are started.  The --rr flag can be used to start up the
  29.      root server daemons on other machines.

  31.      If the file //hhoossttss//$$HHOOSSTT//nnffss exists, it  is  run.   This  is
  32.      usually a script to start up an NFS gateway.

  34.      If the file //hhoossttss//$$HHOOSSTT//iippSSttaarrtt exists, it is used to  fire
  35.      up the IP server.  This is useful for starting up a new ver-
  36.      sion of the server  for  debugging.   If  the  file  doesn't
  37.      exist,  the  server  is  simply  invoked,  with  all  output
  38.      redirected to //hhoossttss//$$HHOOSSTT//iipp..oouutt..
